The Kern Winery was established in order to connect the past’s and the future’s Hungarian wine production through wine making, merging these traditions with nature and technology. The aim is to revive the almost forgotten grapes’ traditional production through the most modern and gentle methods. The Winery’s plantations are found in Balatonszőlős, Eger and Tokaj, where the wine making and viticulture goes back to hundreds of years.
Balatonszőlős is situated in the Veszprém county, on the north coast of the Tihany peninsula, north of the Lake Balaton. This is an ideal location for viticulture as well as KERN Winery’s vineyard and wine cellars.
The Eger wine region is one of Hungary’s historic wine regions, which is situated in Hungary’s North-East side on the southern slopes of the Bükk Mountain, in Heves County.
