Kern Winery was established in order to connect the past and the future of Hungarian wine making through merging traditions with nature and technology. The aim is to revive the almost forgotten grapes’ traditional production through the most modern and gentle methods. The Winery’s plantations are found in Balatonszőlős and Tarcal(Tokaj wine region), where the wine making and viticulture goes back to hundreds of years.
Balatonszőlős is situated in the Veszprém county, on the north coast of the Tihany peninsula, north of the Lake Balaton. This is an ideal location for viticulture as well as KERN Winery’s vineyard and wine cellars.
Goulash (Hungarian: gulyás) is a soup or stew of meat, noodles and vegetables, seasoned with paprika and other spices.
